Patricia D. (Barber) Vanasse
63, of South Kingstown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Richard Vanasse. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Barbara (Patterson) Barber.
Patricia worked for Verizon Communications for 30 years before her retirement. She loved to travel with her family, take walks at her beloved sea wall in Narragansett, and spend quality time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Nicole Paliotti and her husband Peter of South Kingstown, Lauren Houle of South Kingstown; dear stepdaughters Stacey Pettella and her husband Mike of North Kingstown, Kelly Morris and her husband Jeff of Lincoln; cherished grandchildren Benjamin and Sydney Paliotti, Nicholas Pettella, and Jennifer Morris; loving sisters Cynthia Skuce and her husband Donald of Coventry, Lisa Maziuk and her husband Tom of Warwick.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory- SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS will be Saturday morning from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 39 Broadway, Suite 2700, New York, NY 10006.
