Paul passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Amalia “Mollie” (Candelmo) Rossignoli.  A longtime resident of Forge Road in North Kingstown, Paul was a well-respected Otolaryngologist for over 30 years.  He was a graduate of Classical High School in Providence, Tufts University and the University of Bologna School of Medicine.  He did his residency at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and was a longtime Chief of ENT at Kent Hospital before retiring in 2000.  In addition to the practice of medicine, Paul was an active member of the Alpine Country Club in Cranston, a member of the AMA and RI Medical Society.

He is survived by his sister Paula (Rossignoli) Recchia and her husband Richard O. Recchia, MD of Cranston; his 3 nieces, Lisa (Recchia) Dimitri and her husband Bill of Johnston, Mariesa (Recchia) Lane of Cranston and Donna (Recchia) Smith and her husband Steven of Providence; great nieces Alicia Lane, Angelica Dimitri and great nephews Nicholas Lane and Andrew Dimitri.

Visiting hours in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday from 4 – 7 p.m.  Burial will be private.
