Paul L. Yacovone, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Paul, 67, of Cranston on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Capt. Paul L. Sr. and Esther A. (Santagata) Yacovone. Paul was the kindest and most gentle man, who gave of himself and asked nothing in return. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War era in Europe and Scandinavia. While aboard ship, he developed his passion for photography. His keen sense of design shaped him to be a very talented photographer, artist, and creative picture framer. Paul excelled in his field, going above and beyond to make his customers happy. He enjoyed playing golf and loved country music. He was always happy go lucky, had a witty sense of humor, and although a man of few words, when he spoke, he was always kind and compassionate. Paul will be truly missed by all who were lucky to know him. Rest in Peace, Paul. We love you more.

His family meant the world to him and he cherished his devoted children. Paul was a dedicated father to Elise A. Yacovone (Bruce Hutchings ) of Providence, Paul L. Yacovone, III (Kayla Beck) of Cranston, and his step-daughter Linda Gellman (Jeff) of Providence. Paul was a loyal brother to Jane M. Yacovone of Foster, Anne M. Carchia (Richard) of Narragansett and Mark E. Yacovone (Bethany Cooper) of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by his loving cousins and many close friends.
