Paula A. (Chirichella) Trainor

73, of Narragansett, formerly of North Providence, passed away on September 26 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center of Providence. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Viola (Nero) Chirichella. A RI Honor Society graduate of Pawtucket West High School and later, Rhode Island College, she taught at Nathaniel Greene Elementary School for 25 years before retiring to Bonnet Shores in Narragansett. She is survived by her husband, John F (Jack) Trainor II; her son John F. Trainor III and his wife Valerianne of Saunderstown, her grandchildren, Gabriel, Josephine, Adeline, and Angelina, and her brother Michael Chella and his wife, Margaret of Harmony.

She was especially grateful for the love and support of her cousins Stephen Palmieri, Gail Giarusso, Phyllis Proccacini, Marilyn Wilbur, Marie Penta, Barbara and Gerald Olean, and Daniel and Patricia Finifter.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt. 1A) in Narragansett on Saturday, October 1st at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church 53 Rockland St. Narragansett at 10 AM. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 30th from 3-7 PM.
