Pauline M. (DiIorio) Petracca

75, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late John F. Petracca. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Mary (Giansanti) DiIorio. Pauline was the co-owner of Anthony’s Market on Plainfield Street in Providence, a family owned business that served the community for many years.

Pauline was the cherished mother of Laurie Savage and her husband James of Cranston, and John Petracca, Jr. and his wife Judy of Cranston. She was the beloved grandmother of Jillian Pagano and her husband Nicholas, Jennifer and Janine Petracca, James Savage and his wife Kendra, Robert and William Savage. She was the loving great-grandmother of Natalie Pagano. Pauline was the sister of Rocco DiIorio of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Anthony DiIorio of Cranston.

Pauline loved her family and looked forward to hosting her weekly family dinner, a tradition for many years.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
