Peter P. Almagno, Jr.

71, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025.

Peter was the beloved son of the late Peter Paul Almagno, Sr., and the late Evelyn (D’Errico) Almagno. Peter grew up in the Silver Lake section of Providence, where he attended St. Batholomew’s school and went on to graduate from LaSalle Academy. He was a rural postal carrier for the United States Postal Service, where he worked for many years.

Since childhood, Peter was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Boston Celtics. He supported these teams throughout his life.

Peter had a kind and generous nature. Although he was disabled and confined to a wheelchair for many years, he never complained. He loved and cared for the many dogs he had throughout his life.

Peter is survived by his sister Paula S. Vessella, nephew Joseph Vessella, niece Adria Musco and her husband Steven, and great nephew Dylan Musco. Peter was the longtime companion Linda Cook. He also leaves behind many relatives and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, final arrangements will be private.
