91,of Prudence Avenue, Providence died on Wednesday July 4, 2007 at the Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the loving husband of 65 years to Theresa (Carlomastro) Buffardi. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Nicola and Gabriela (Aveta) Buffardi. Mr. Buffardi was the founder of the former Buffardi's Bakery of Providence which he operated for over 40 years and had retired from the former Federal Products of Providence. He was an Army veteran of WW-II. He was the beloved grandfather of Lori Conti and the beloved great grandfather of Bryana Reid. He was also the father of the late Joyce Conti and brother of the late Anna Guglielmi, Mary Colardo, Anthony and Armando Buffardo. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston on Monday at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church Laurel Hill Avenue Providence at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 5-8pm.
