Peter DeSimone
94, of Grace St., Cranston, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna (Patonia) DeSimone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rocco and Rose (Iacovone) DeSimone.
Peter was a construction laborer for many years before retiring. He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran and a member of RI Laborer's Union Local 271.
He was the devoted father of Peter DeSimone, Jr. and Lenora Scalzo and her husband Dennis, all of Warwick, Rosemarie Salisbury of Mansfield, MA and Rocco J. DeSimone and his wife Patricia of St. Petersburg, FL; loving grandfather of 8; loving great-grandfather of 18; loving great great-grandfather of 2; and dear brother of Angelina Parrrillo of Johnston and the late Carmella DeCiantis, Julia Verrecchia and Anna Parrillo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
