Peter Lehoullier

(90), of Narragansett, RI passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late Peter Lehoullier and the late Marion (Bourque) Lehoullier. He is survived by his cherished wife of 55 years, Lorene (Paquin) Lehoullier, his son Jeffrey Lehoullier and his wife Kristin of East Greenwich, RI, his daughter Lisa Germadnik of Cumberland, RI, and his daughter Nicole Shaffer and her husband Glenn of Holly Springs, North Carolina. His nine amazing grandchildren, Alec Teichmann, Jordan Teichmann, Jake Lehoullier, Abigail Shaffer, Andrew Shaffer, Katharine Lehoullier, Lilian Germadnik, Chad Germadnik, and Samantha Shaffer. His late sisters Rita Sabourin, Ella Lehoullier, and Janet Fortin, as well as his brothers Richard Lehoullier and his wife Dianne of Georgia, and his brother David Lehoullier and his wife Sandra of Florida. As well as many wonderful nieces, nephews, sister in laws, and friends.

Peter was born on December 5, 1933 in Pawtucket, RI. He is a graduate of West High School in Pawtucket as well as a graduate of RI School of Electronics. As a young man he spent much of his time refurbishing vintage cars and becoming an Eagle Scout. He served his country as a United States Marine. After which he took a job with the Federal Aviation Administration where he made his career of 35 years. After retiring from the FAA, Peter was a consultant for Raytheon and Lockheed Martin for several years until his full retirement in 2011. Peter was a faithful man and parishioner of St. Mary Star of the Sea. In his spare time, he liked to restore antiques of any kind, tend to his beautiful vegetable garden, also an avid health enthusiast and outdoorsman he enjoyed biking, walking on the beach, and loved cooking and quahogging.  But most importantly, Peter loved spending quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. To know Peter is to love him. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 9:45am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett.  Burial with Military Honors will be in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  VISITING HOURS Monday from 4-7pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation https://give.cff.org/central-eastern-carolinas .
