PETER M. MONJE

54, of Block Island, passed away on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at home from lung cancer. In his last hours, he was surrounded by his caring family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Kristine (Pettinato) Monje. Born in Brooklyn, New York Peter was the son of Jeanne (Forte) Oki of Florida and the late Ronald Monje. Peter was the owner of Greenscape Mowing Service on Block Island. Besides his wife he was the loving father of Thea and Silas Monje of Block Island and dear brother of Claude and Mark Monje of Queens, New York.

Visiting hours to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &

Crematory, 1278 Park Ave Cranston. Inurnment will be held at Block Island Cemetery, Block Island on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
