Peter A. Moretti Jr.

88, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine (Capace) Moretti, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter A. Moretti Sr., and Anna (Valante) Moretti. His career as a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry spanned many years, during which he contributed to advancements in his field before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. 

Peter's family meant the world to him. He is survived by his loving daughter, Donna Haze, and her husband, Cedric, who reside in Cranston. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Christopher Haze and his wife, Erika, and his adored great-grandchildren, Julian and Sienna Haze. He is also remembered as the brother of the late Dennis Moretti. In addition to his immediate family, Peter leaves behind extended family from Holland, including Jessica Tweebaum and her husband Aldren, along with their children, Adrianna and Elena. He also has extended family members in Aruba, including the Bardouille family, reminding us of the deep connections he fostered throughout his life. A devoted animal lover, Peter will be missed by his grand dogs, Charlie and George, who brought joy to his days. His warmth, kindness, and dedication to his family were the cornerstones of his life, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. 

His funeral will be held on Thursday, December 4th, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
