Peter Pistocco, Jr
93, of Seaport Dr., Narragansett, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at home on his 69th wedding anniversary. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmen M. (DeSisto) Pistocco. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pietro and Margaret (Delfino) Pistocco.
Peter was a sales manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company where he worked for 35 years retiring in 1976 and was a combat medic in the U.S. Army during WW-II.
He was the cherished father of Cynthia Pistocco Booth and her late husband Robert F. Booth of Narragansett; loving grandfather of Denise Begos and the late Robert Booth; loving great-grandfather of Stephanie and Robert Booth and Holly and James Poy; and dear brother of the late John Pistocco and Concetta Grossi. Peter is also survived by his godchild Lou Ann DiMuccio Darwich; and dear family friend Joan Swiencki.
Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett on Wednesday, February 4th at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
