69, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Altieri) Seabolt. Born in Baltimore, MD, raised in Charleston, WV, he was a son of the late Ray and Evelyn (Pack) Seabolt. Philip was a detective for the Providence Police Department for 20 years until his retirement. He was a US Navy veteran serving during Vietnam era; he was also a lector at St. Rocco Church, an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion and President of St. Rocco's Holy Name Society. Philip is survived by his loving siblings, Brenda Garten and her husband Thomas of Charleston, WV, Carolyn King of Cross Lanes, WV and Joanne Stone and her husband Michael of Charleston, WV; he is also the cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, Johnston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
