84, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Riverview Nursing Home in Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond DeSimone, Sr. She was born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Nicola and Angelina (Corso) Laprocina. Mrs. DeSimone was a repair woman at Colibri Inc. for many years until her retirement; and was also an avid BINGO and card player. She is survived by her loving sons, Raymond DeSimone, Jr. of Cranston and Robert DeSimone of Coventry. She was also the grandmother of Raymond DeSimone III and sister of Santo Laprocina of Providence, Rose Manera of Johnston, Paul Laprocina of Warwick, Virginia Frazier of Warwick; and was the sister of the late Joseph, Carlo, Frank, Pasquale, Julio Laprocina, Mary Antonetta Paglia and Mary Josephine Saccoccia. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-8 pm.
