77 of Port Saint Lucie, FL and formerly of Cranston passed away on Monday April 15, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in East Providence, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Betty Glasberg. She was the devoted wife of the late Frank R. Zito.
She was a teacher for many years, substitute teaching for various school systems. She also was a transcriptionist for the Cranston Police Department, for numerous years. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing puzzles, the more pieces the better. She was quite content to be at home watching movies, she was after a self-proclaimed “movie buff”. The yearly family trips to New Hampshire were something she always enjoyed and looked forward to planning.
She is survived by her two sons John F. Zito and his wife Glo, and Ronald F. Zito. She was the devoted grandmother of Penelope Zito. She was the sister of Dolores Dasaro and the late Harvey Glasberg.
