Ralph L. 'Bud' Riedeman Sr

84, of Providence, passed away on Sunday July 27, 2014 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Shirley A. (Schofield) Riedeman. Born in Sauk Rapids, MN he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Halthaus) Riedeman. He was a U.S. Korean war Navy veteran. He worked for the State of Rhode Island at the Narragansett Bay Commission for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Ralph L. Jr., Patricia A., John H., and the late Rita E. Riedeman, loving grandfather of Matthew, Jessica, Gianna and Evan and loving great-grandfather of Amaya.
He was the dear brother of John B. Riedeman, Dolores Maleska and the late Edwin, Harold, Joseph, Jerome and Mark Riedeman, Loretta, Marsella, and Beatrice Maleska.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston, followed by burial with military honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
