Rasin Hovsepian
77, of Isabella Ave., Providence, RI, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Mari (Burnsuzian) Hovsepian. Born in Aleppo Syria, he was the son of the late George and Arshalouys (Holyian) Hovsepian. He emigrated from Aleppo, Syria to Yerevan, Armenia in 1946 at the age of nine and to the United States in1979.
Mr. Hovsepian worked in manufacturing in Armenia and the U.S. and later worked for the Providence School Department before retiring.
He was the devoted father of George Hovsepian of Providence, RI, Sella Bazerji and her husband George of Central Falls, RI, and Arsen Hovsepian and his wife Ave Maria, of Cranston, RI; and was the dear brother of Ashour Hovsepian of Hollywood, CA, Meline Iknoyan of Burbank, CA, Georgette "Betty" Nevcherlian of North Scituate and the late Alek Hovsepian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, April 3rd at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial at North Burial Ground Cemetery in Providence. VISITING HOURS are Thursday, April 2nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
