Raymond H. Buffery

78, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Marie E. (Perrotta) Buffery. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry C., Sr. and Edith L. (White) Buffery.
Raymond worked for 26 years before retiring from Ciba Giegy Pharmaceutical. After his retirement he worked at J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center in Warwick, was an active member in Habitat for Humanity, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Donna M. Pennacchia and her husband Edward of Cranston, Raymond L. Buffery and his wife Maria of Seekonk, MA, Darlene Noret and her husband Brian of Warwick, and James T. Buffery and his wife Laurie of Weymouth, MA; 9 cherished grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; dear siblings Edward Buffery of Coventry, Douglas J. Buffery of Warwick, John Buffery of Randolph, MA, Rosemary Walker of Cranston, and Barbara Buffery of CT. He was the brother of the late Henry C. Buffery, Jr., James and Christopher Buffery.
His funeral service and burial for close friends and family will be held on Friday at 12 noon in R.I Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
