Raymond F. Lamore, Sr.

91, of Hope, passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Urquhart) Lamore. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Raymond P. and Irene (Martellucci) Lamore. Raymond was a teacher and administrator for 36 years for the Providence School Department, and a WW-II Army Air Corps veteran.

He was the devoted father of Raymond F. Lamore, Jr.,  Dr. Paul R. Lamore, and Stephanie Ann Kent; loving grandfather of Katherine Lamore, Raymond Lamore, III, Kristen Sector, Matthew Lamore, Peter Lamore, Gregory Kent and Alyssa Kent; and dear brother of Clara Lamore Walker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday August 6th at 10 a.m. at Saints John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St. Coventry, followed by interment in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
