Raymond A. Mancini
85, of East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Irene G. (Tremblay) Mancini for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Giovanina (Ragosta) Mastrangelo-Mancini.
Ray was an insurance adjuster for Continental Insurance Company, Nationwide Insurance Company and owned/operated Johnston Claims Service. He attended Providence College and was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Ray enjoyed bowling, golfing and being by the ocean with his family.
Besides his wife Irene, Ray was the devoted father of Debra Duffy-Connors and her husband James Connors of Johnston, Linda Mancini of Providence and Gail Palumbo and her husband Richard of Coventry; loving grandfather of Amanda Duffy of Alexandria, VA; and dear brother of Dora McLaughlin of Las Vegas, NV and the late Ralph Mastrangelo, Helena Mainelli, Carmela Ferrante, Pasco Mastrangelo and Alfred Mancini, Jr.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
