Raymond M. Moretti

91, of Richmond, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Kingston Center, Exeter. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Scuncio) Moretti. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Sadie (Moretti) Moretti. Raymond worked for his family restaurant Vilmaray for many years. Mr. Moretti was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII. He was a member of the Shriners in Warwick.

Raymond is survived by his loving children, Cheryl Moretti of Warwick, Rayna Reis and her husband Michael of Richmond and Michael J. Moretti and his wife Madeline of Manville. He was the cherished grandfather of Peter Bowman, Joshua Choma and Steven Natalizia. Raymond was the brother of Vilma Falzone of Warwick, Faith DeCataldo of Summerset, MA, Donald Moretti of Cranston and the late Hope Joslin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 5th, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
