84, of Johnston, passed away on Monday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor L. (Paolino) Cipriano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Enrico and Marie (Coletti ) Cipriano. Richard was an attendant at the IMH in Cranston for twenty two years before retiring. He enjoyed the casinos, refurbishing clocks and setting up concessions at various flea markets.
Besides his wife he was the beloved father of Diane Fernandes and Patricia Scialdone; loving grandfather of five; and loving great-grandfather of one; and dear brother of Gilbert Cipriano, Rosemarie Joubert, Henrietta Staples and Tony Cipriano.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave. Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
Visiting hours are Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
