Richard Cunha

74, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday July 12, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joyce L. (Cornachione) Cunha. Born in Fall River, MA he was the son of the late Antonio Cunha and Ella (Correia) Lyons. Richard was a truck driver for My Bread Baking Company for many years before retiring. He was also a crossing guard for the city of Cranston. Besides his wife he was the father of Mark, Richard and Kim Cunha, stepfather of Robert and David Prando and Robin Cooney. He was the grandfather of seven and brother of Isabel Badessa, Patsy Hicks and Gilbert Cunha. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthews Church 1291 Elmwood Ave. Cranston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
