Richard F. DeLuca, Jr.

62, of East Providence, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard F. and Catherine (Houston) DeLuca, Sr. Richard worked in the telecommunications office of RI Hospital. He was known for this great sense of humor, and was also an avid bowler.

Richard is survived by his loving son, Richard F. DeLuca, III and his wife Amy. He was the dear brother of Maria T. DeLuca-Vaccaro (Paul), William V. DeLuca (Marcela) and the late Karyn J. DeLuca. He is also survived by his dear friend, Maria Medeiros.

Visiting hours will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 9:00 – 10:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be private.
