70, of Coventry, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. Richard was the husband of Stephanie (Folsom) Marrocco. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (Bordone) Marrocco. Mr. Marrocco was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He worked as a buyer for Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing for fourteen years and then as an inspector for Honeywell for twenty years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children; David P. Camp and his wife Mary of Cumberland and Lisa R. Brown and her husband Timothy of West Warwick. Richard was the beloved grandfather of four and was the brother of Gregory Marrocco of Cranston. He was also the nephew of Madeline Vellucci of Cranston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service, which will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Burial, with military honors, will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, RI Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, RI 02907.
