Richard D. Morrocco, Sr
76, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Scalabrini Villa in North Kingstown. He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Ruscetti) Morrocco. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dora (Cyr) Morrocco, Jr.
Richard worked as the Vice President of Finance for the Lockheed Window Corporation for many years until his retirement.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Richard Morrocco, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Cranston, David Morrocco and his wife Jeannette of Arizona, Kerri Crawford and her husband Steven of Cranston; cherished grandchildren Jonathan, Austin, Steven, Brian, and Lauren; dear siblings Marie Mansolillo of Florida, Joseph Morrocco III of North Carolina, Patricia DeQuattro of Cranston, Joan Moretti of Jamestown, Diane DeMatteis of Cranston, and Gary Morrocco of Cranston.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Friday morning from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scalabrini Villa, 860 North Quidnessett Rd., North Kingstown, RI 02852.
