Of Cranston, died on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Alice (Stebenne) Nadeau for 64 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Louis A., Sr. and Bertha (Dugas) Nadeau.

Richard was a WWII Veteran of the Army. He owned and operated the Nadeau Poultry Farm on Natick Avenue in Cranston for many years. He later went to work for the City of Cranston until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and family card games.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his devoted children, Anne Monk and her husband Tom, Peter Nadeau and his wife Karen, Roberta Boatright DDS and her husband Seth, James Nadeau CPA and his wife Patricia, Judith Barlow and her husband Daniel, Mark Nadeau and his wife Diana. He was the cherished grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 7.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Entombment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. VISTING HOURS will be Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard N. Nadeau's memory, may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, RI 02920.
