Rita A. (Celio) Gizzarelli

94, of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 . She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony M. Gizzarelli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Elvera (Izzi) Celio. Mrs. Gizzarelli was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She married Anthony on December 27th 1941 and was joyfully married for 75 years.

Rita is survived by her loving daughter Elaine and her husband Louis D'Alise; granddaughters Donna D'Alise Gandy and her husband Raymond, and Rebecca D'Alise; great-grandchildren Jessica Gandy Labadie and her husband Brian, William D'Alise Farabaugh, and Margaret Elaine Farabaugh; sister Ann Acciardo and her husband Richard; sister-in-law Glennis Celio; brother-in-law Edward Gizzarelli; loving nieces and nephews and friends. Rita was also the sister of the late John , William Jr. and Robert Celio .  She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Sts. John and Paul Church, Coventry.  Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI.  VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-8 pm.
