Rita Anne Jennings

61, formerly of Narragansett, RI, passed peacefully on September 3, 2018. She was predeceased by her mother, Doris Marie Callahan Jennings, and her brother, Greg Callahan Jennings. She is survived by her father, John R. Jennings and his wife, Barbara of Narragansett. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Brenda Jennings of Atlanta, Mary Jennings Lurgio and her husband Don of Foster, and Monica Jennings Kaufman and her husband Steven of Portsmouth. Rita was a loving aunt to her nephews and nieces, Austin, Emily, Chase, Jessica, Aidan, Devin and Sean. She loved spending time with her family.

Rita will be remembered as a great fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots, celebrating birthdays, exploring new places and taking pictures with her Polaroid. Her career included positions at Calart Flowers, Jay Packaging Group and as a dedicated associate at Ames Department Store in Narragansett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Road, Narragansett. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
