Rita E. (Turbridy) Rigney

97, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Cortland Place, Greenville. She was the beloved wife of the late William V. Rigney. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Nora (Shannon) Turbridy. Rita is survived by her loving daughter Jane M. Grimaldi and her husband Robert of Cranston, and was the mother of the late William V. Rigney, Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of Andrea Aucone and her husband Jason of Johnston, and the great-grandmother of Alana and Jenna Aucone. Rita was the sister of the late John and James Turbridy. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, (Formerly St. Ann), 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston.
