66 of Westfield, NJ, a former RI resident, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at his home in Westfield, peacefully napping. Born in Central Falls, RI, he grew up in Pawtucket, RI and graduated from St. Rays Academy, Providence College, and earned his MS Chemistry from Northeastern University. He owned and was President of National Chemical Company 1977-84, and retired as President of Reliable Silver in CT in 2009. He was actively involved in International Precious Metals Association (IPMI) and the American Electroplaters and Surface Finishers Society (AESF) and received the AESF Nat'l Leadership Award.
Robert was the loving and devoted husband of Holly Seplocha for 27+ years. He was the son of Lionel (deceased) and Cecile Audette. He is also survived by his siblings Madeline Darter, Celeste Ferguson, and Gerry Audette and their families. He was Dad to Nicole (Audette) and Brad Rice, and Lauren (Audette) and Michael Picard, and Baba to his grandchildren Mikela and Madison Picard and Sam Rice, and loving BobBob to CABJ. A brilliant, kind and humble man, he will be missed by many nieces and nephews and friends both near and far.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Tuesday evening, April 15th at 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. VISITING HOURS are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to Funeral Service.
