Robert J. Carnevale, Sr
75, of Cranston, passed away on April 3, 2014 at the West Palm Hospital in Florida. He was the beloved husband of Grace (Menna) Carnevale for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Angela (Marchetti) Carnevale.
He was the proprietor of Total Image Hair Salon for 25 years and had a passion for golf, gardening, and cooking. He was devoted to his family and loved by all who knew him.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving sons, Robert J. Carnevale, Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Coventry and Steven A. Carnevale of Cranston; cherished grandchildren Eva, Jaden, and Dylan; dear siblings Gerard Carnevale and his wife Marie Rose of Cranston and Anna Smith of Warwick. He was also the brother of the late Thomas and Antonio Carnevale and Mary Colaiacomo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Denis St. Amand Scholarship Fund, c/o Coventry High School, 40 Reservoir Rd., Coventry, RI 02816 or to the Betty DeTroia Scholarship Fund, c/o Joanna DeTroia, 126 Adams St., Warwick, RI 02888.
