80, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Providence, RI he was a son of the late Julio Colavecchio and Edwina Colavecchio and brother of the late Walter Colavecchio.
He lived in Johnston, RI before moving to Exeter in 1981.
Bob is survived by wife Eva and his children Robert, Janice, Richard, John, Julie Ann, and Russell; stepchildren Stephen and Linda; 9 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.
He was employed by Elmwood Sensors, Inc. for 22 years and prior to retirement, by Cal-Greg Electronics, Inc. He also owned and operated American Woodworking, Inc. for 25 years.
Bob attended Roger Williams Jr. College-Mechanical Engineering and URI- Industrial Engineering.
He served in the U.S. Army, was a Boy Scout leader and was formerly a member of St. Joseph Parish Council, Hope Valley.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS will be Saturday morning from 9 - 10 a.m.
