Robert Anthony D'Ercole

of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenic and Gaetana (Rampolla) D’Ercole. Mr. D’Ercole was a golf club manager for Goddard Memorial State Park for many years until his retirement. He truly enjoyed being out in the sun and speaking with the golfers about their round.  An extremely intelligent man, he enjoyed any game of wits, and was an avid reader and pro at the daily crossword, jumble and Jeopardy games.

Robert is survived by his loving sister Lucille “Lucy” Furia of Johnston. He was the cherished uncle of one niece, Christen Furia Senes, two nephews Stephen and Paul Furia; four great nieces and one great nephew. He was the uncle of the late Lisa Furia.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
