70, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Emil A. and Evelyn (Pacitti) Fioravanti. He is survived by his loving daughters: Kristen Fioravanti-Bucci and her husband Chris Bucci, Alyssa Beliveau and her husband Jeff; cherished grandson Tatem and granddaughter Pippa; dear siblings Joseph Fioravanti, Emil Fioravanti, Ann Marie Iannazzi, and Paul Fioravanti. Robert was a graduate of LaSalle Academy and Bryant University.
To many he was known as Bob or Bobby, but his most prideful nickname was Papi, named by his grandchildren. He was a warm, humorous and contented man who enjoyed nice weather, spending time at the beach, Italian food and culture, and being with his family. Though he was a Rhode Islander, he frequently visited his family in Southern California. You could always catch him in Los Angeles gear, his nod to representing the other half of him. He leaves behind a West Coast community including his two grand dogs Brodie and Leo. Papi was the ultimate girl dad who adored his “two girls” and had the most joy during the time he spent with his grandchildren.
His funeral services will be private.
