Robert Di Iorio
79, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in Cancun, Mexico. He was the beloved husband of Miriam (Schart) Di Iorio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Peter and Minnie (Iacobucci) Di Iorio.
Robert was a U.S Marine Veteran. He and his wife were also communicants of Emmanuel Catholic Church in Delray Beach, FL.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Robert Waters of Lakeville, MN, Cheryl Lutz of Linchburg, VA and the late Michael Di Iorio; Six cherished grandchildren; dear brother of the late Peter Di Iorio, Jr. and Gerald Di Iorio.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday morning from 9-10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org or Make-A-Wish Foundation, 20 Hemingway Dr., East Providence RI 02915.
