Robert Lawrence

born on November 21, 1936, in West Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026. He leaves behind a rich legacy shaped by years of dedication to both his profession and his family.

Robert had a long and fulfilling career at Amtrol Manufacturing, where he contributed many years of his life before retiring. He was not only known for his work ethic but also for his vibrant personality outside of the workplace. An accomplished musician, Robert found great joy in playing the drums, showcasing his talent at various family gatherings and special events. In addition to his love for music, he had a deep appreciation for gardening, tending to his plants with care and passion.

Above all, Robert cherished his family. He was married to Helen M. (Reynolds) Lawrence for 52 loving years, during which they built a life filled with memories and devotion. Together, they raised their daughter, Kim Marie Pepler, who, along with her husband John, was a source of immense pride and joy for him. The delight of his life extended to his grandson, John Pepler, Jr., who will carry forward the love and values Robert instilled in his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Rose (Correia) Lawrence, and had 11 siblings who, though they are no longer with us, remain a cherished part of his story.

His funeral and burial will be private.
