75, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Rosemary (Calvino) Napolillo for fifty-three years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Santo and Anna (Valcarenghi) Napolillo.
Mr. Napolillo graduated from Cranston High School East in 1965 and served in the RI National Guard for six years.
He worked in automotive sales for Sears, Roebuck & Company Automotive Department for twenty-five years; he later worked for Melvin’s Tire Pros and retired from Koch Eye Associates.
An avid sports fan, Bob was a devoted fan of the Providence College Friars and the New York Yankees. He loved travelling with the Friars on charter trips, attending games at Yankee Stadium and his special trip to Cooperstown with his sons.
Besides his wife, he leaves his two sons, Brian G. Napolillo of Cranston and Steven R. Napolillo and his wife Bethany of North Kingstown; four siblings, Richard Napolillo (Lauren) of Uxbridge, MA, Marie Marchetti (Angelo) of Cranston, his twin sister, Roberta Volpe of Johnston and Anna Marino of Cranston; and his two cherished grandchildren, Drew and Avery Napolillo. He was the brother of the late Sandra D’Allessandro.
Family was the most important thing to Bob; his grandchildren were the light of his life, and he enjoyed cheering Drew on at his games and spending time with Avery. He was grateful to his daughter-in-law, Bethany, the daughter he never had who helped him during his most difficult days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10am in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.
