Robert G. Sabetta

79, of North Providence, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026at Lincolnwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Bellaire) Sabetta. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Rosario “Hugo” and Florence (Cambio) Sabetta.

Robert worked for DEM for the State of RI and most recently for the North Providence School Department. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying golf, fishing and hunting. He cherished the time he spent fishing with his grandson John. 

Robert was the loving father of Melissa J. Quattrocchi and the late Robert G. Sabetta, Jr. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, William, Robert and John Quattrocchi; step-children, Jeffrey Goodwin, Melissa Goodwin and Tara Silva; step grandchildren, Ryan Goodwin and David Silva. He was the brother of the late Thomas Sabetta.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Inurnment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 10:00 am.
