Robert Rocco Santurri, 86 of Cranston, RI and Venice, Fl passed away peacefully in Venice, Florida surrounded by his family on November 19, 2025. Born in Cranston he was the son of the late Rocco “Bucky” Santurri and Lena (DiNola) Santurri. He was the loving husband of the late Beverly (Pontarelli) Santurri for 55 years. Primarily living in Cranston and looked forward to and enjoyed winters in Venice home with family and friends.
Bob graduated from Cranston High School in 1958. He worked at Bucky’s Automotive with father and his brothers Tom and Rocco creating not only a family business but also a legacy until he retired in 2008. He served in the US Army Reserves as a Motor Pool Staff Sargent with the 455th General Hospital. He was the past president of the St. Mary’s Holy Name Society, along with being a member of the San Bernado Society, St. Mary’s Feast Society, AM VETS, RI Saltwater Angler’s Association, and the Studebaker Drivers Club. Bob was also the proud owner of a “true survivor” a 1964 Avanti Jet Trust R2, which won first place at Concours d’Elegance at the Studebaker Drivers Club 2016 International meet. A life long avid New England Patriots Fan he was a season ticket holder for 50 years.
He is survived by his devoted daughter Robin Santurri- Hall and her husband Gregory of Cranston. He was the beloved brother of Thomas Santurri, Sr. and his wife Shirley and Rocco Santurri and his wife Criss, and the late Helen and Charles Voccio, Sr. He was the cherished brother-in -law-of Deborah Costa, William DiSandro, Jr. and Susan Vescera. He leaves his precious dog Max who was a source of joy and comfort .He also was predeceased by his beloved dogs Ellie, Mollie, Bo, and Jack.
His funeral will leave at 9:15am on Saturday January 10, 2026, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Church St., Cranston. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday January 9, 2026, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
