Robert E. 'Bobby' Trombetti
68, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Ernest and Rose (Frangillo) Trombetti. Robert was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his two siblings; Ernest Trombetti and his wife Janet of Cranston, Donna Iafrate of Johnston, and the late Paul Trombetti. Robert was the brother-in-law of the late Joseph Iafrate, uncle of six nieces and nephews, and great uncle of seven nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial, with Military Honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
