Robert Alan Verdecchia

of Alfred Ave., Johnston, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. Born in Providence, he was the loving son of the late Michele and Ida (Velletri) Verdecchia.

He worked in the banking industry for many years and later as a salesman for Cardi’s Furniture.

Bobby was the devoted partner for 31 years of James R. Tell, dear brother of Arlene A. Pilozzi and her husband John and Steven L. Verdecchia and his wife Sandra, all of Johnston, the late John Verdecchia and his wife Elvira of Johnston and the late Michael Verdecchia and his wife Deborah of Cranston. He was the loving uncle of seven; and loving great-uncle of eight.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 6th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
