Robert Benny Viti

76, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Annette (LaPorte) Viti.

He was a US Air Force Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Robert worked for the US Post Office in Providence for many years, retiring at the age of 55. He was a member of the Retired NALC Veterans group, Branch #15.

He enjoyed playing racquetball, pool, cooking, and watching sports every Sunday. He was a Las Vegas Raiders and big time New York Yankees fan.

He leaves his two children, Jaime Pezza and her husband Michael and Jason Viti; a brother, Thomas Viti; his former wife, Donna (Lisa) Viti; three grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as ‘Papa Bob’, Lia, Michael and James Pezza; and a nephew, Jesse Viti. He was the brother of the late Frank Viti (ret. PFD).

VISITING HOURS Monday, May 19, 2025 from 10am-12pm followed by a funeral service at 12pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
