Rocco A. Izzo, Sr.

84, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Rose Marie (Savastano) Izzo. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Carmine and Philomena (Bova) Izzo. Mr. Izzo was the owner and president of S &R Construction and was also an Army Korean War veteran.

Besides his beloved wife he is survived by his loving children, Marisa Izzo of Naples, FL and Rocco A. Izzo, Jr. and his wife Susan of Cranston. He was also the cherished grandfather of Erica, David Jr., Cassandra, Ryan and Michael and father in-law of Noel Izzo of Johnston. Rocco was also the loving father of the late David Izzo, Sr. and dear brother of the late Salvatore Izzo.

His funeral will be held on Saturday a t 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-7 pm.
