Rocco J. Patriarca
91, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday April 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Rose C. (DiLorenzo) Patriarca. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Rocco and Argentina (DiNuccio) Patriarca.
Rocco was employed as a Location Engineer in the Dept. of Transportation for the State of RI for 40 years until his retirement. He was also a member of the RI Engineering Association and a longtime parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. After his service in the U.S Army during World War II, he graduated from both Bryant College and Rhode Island School of Design.
Besides his devoted wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Janice M. Patriarca of Bellingham, MA, Joan Patriarca Fino and Jill R. Patriarca, both of Cranston, and the late Judith Dodd; dear brother of Mary Manock of Warwick; seven cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His funeral service and burial are respectfully omitted. Memorial contributions, in Rocco's memory, may be made to the charity of your choice.
