80, of Hollins Dr., Cranston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday July 1, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra L. (Napolillo) D’Allesandro. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Eugene and Adina (Saltafossi) D’Allesandro.
Roger was a plant operator for 45 years in the gas industry until retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Knights of the Wine Table and was an avid bowler and hot rod classic car enthusiast.
Roger was the devoted father of David A. D’Allesandro and his wife Susan of Cranston, Peter J. D’Allesandro and his wife Stacy of North Kingstown, Gina M. Valelli and her late husband Michael of Cranston and Leanne S. Ciccarelli of Cranston; dear brother of Sandra T. D’Allesandro of Cranston, George M. D’Allesandro of MN and the late Eugene K. D’Allesandro; and cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Jack D’Allesandro, Sidney, Jordan, Connor and Casey D’Allesandro, Giana and Michael Valelli and Siana and Gianni Ciccarelli.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday, July 6th at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
