age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was the devoted and loving husband of Jeanne (Casale) Garafano and loving and devoted father of Ronald D. Garafano, Jr. (Technical Sargeant USAF) and his fiancé Francesca Mancinone.
Ron was the owner of Canterbury Men’s Clothing Store in Cranston for over 40 years where he worked daily with his wife. His dedication to his customers was exceptional and he took pride in his craft as evidenced by his success. Ron worked up until his passing. Ron’s life was full of love and laughter. His best times were vacationing in Aruba, trips to New Hampshire and generously opening his home in Narragansett to family and friends. He will always be remembered for his humor and good-natured personality.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Pasco and Natalie Garafano, his brother Robert, father-in-law John Casale, Jr. and brother and sister-in-law James and Dawn Casale. He also leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and his very best friend John Campellone whose hearts are all broken at his passing. He will remain in our hearts forever.
You were the love of my life I feel blessed to have had your love for over forty-three years. You will always be the love of my life, until we meet again darling.
Thank you to all his loyal customers over the years as he truly enjoyed all of you. Jeanne
