ROSA (MUCCIO) PICCOLINO

78, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday November 16, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Valle Agricola, Caserta, Italy she was the daughter of the late Ernesto and Anna (Splendorio) Muccio. Rosa is survived by her devoted grandson Roy Rivers and his wife Amanda of Johnston, her beloved children, Carmella Rivers and her companion Robert Neirinckx of Johnston, Rosa Laurenza and her husband Louis of Johnston, Maria Caparrelli of Johnston. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph, Kayla, Giovanni and Nicholas Caparrelli, Gianna Palumbo, Louis, Christopher and Michael Laurenza, and loving great-grandmother of Giovanni, Isabella, Domenic and Victoria. She was the sister of Antonio Muccio of Johnston, Domenica Tartaglia of Johnston and the late Giuseppe Muccio and Adelchi Muccio. Rosa's life passions were her family and friends. She loved to cook, garden, shop, travel and enjoyed martial art films. She was an active member of St Rocco Church and contributed to numerous charitable organizations. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Mausoleum. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
