94, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Celio. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Marco and Lucia (Pellegrino) Mastriano. Rose was a seamstress, working along with her late husband in the family business the former Celio Sweaters, of Providence. Rose devoted her life to her family and especially enjoyed cooking for all of them. She is survived by her loving children, Frank A. Celio and his wife Sandra of Seekonk, MA, Ronald J. Celio and his wife Viola of North Providence, Cheryl V. Linneman and her husband Raymond of Cranston, Nancy L. Perreault and her husband Stephen of Warwick. Rose was the mother of the late Carolyn M. Celio. She was the cherished grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of five. Rose was the sister of the late Domenic, Michael, and Joseph Mastriano, Josephine Poli, and Antonetta DelNigro. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church,179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
