Rose T. (Carchia) DeAngelis

95, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Oak Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph DeAngelis. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Rosaria (DeMichele) Carchia. Rose was employed by the former Hospital Trust Bank of Providence in the executive dining room for ten years before retiring in 1983. She is survived by her loving children, Elizabeth Ann Nichols and her husband James of Cranston, Patricia Ann Ault of East Providence, Steven M. DeAngelis of Providence, and David J. DeAngelis of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of eight. Rose was the sister of Daniel Carchia of Johnston, Emelio Carchia of Scituate, John Carchia of Providence, Michael Carchia of Las Vegas, NV, and the late Antonio Carchia, Pvt. Joseph Carchia, and Columbia Ciccone.. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 5-8 p.m.
